1. Regulation, Codes and Standards
The panelists will address the codes and standards used in the nuclear industry, with an emphasis on what are codes and standards and how they are developed, how codes and standards impact design and construction, how to balance strict and flexible regulation for near term nuclear power deployment.

2. Training, education and workforce for nuclear power development
With major countries expanding nuclear energy's role and new countries poised to develop it, the question here is what the various institutions are doing to the workforce shortage, training and education issues to emphasize on promoting the levels of skill, motivation and ethics for nuclear power development. Several panelists will provide various views in addressing the needs in meeting this global imperative. What do we need in order to succeed as engineers in our own careers.

3. Sharing of best plant's operation and maintenance experiences
Several panelists from world-wide utilities will address why some plants are running better than others especially discuss what the most effective and important measures for best performance are.

4. Newly designed plants: Issues and challenges during construction
With global economic development and rising energy consumption, more and more countries are placing importance on nuclear energy. Many countries are promoting the newly designed plant with advanced technology, but which also can bring new challenges. In this session, panelists will discuss the issues and challenges during the construction, and exchange the ideas and experiences of new projects.

5. Gen-IV Program
Requirements for Generation IV programs, research and demonstration reactors, safety, economics, sustainability, calculational tools and techniques, advanced instrumentation and control systems, advanced construction and project management techniques, fuel cycle integrated system. Several panelists will expand the knowledge by presenting research results, new developments, and novel concepts in Next Generation Program.
